Default D15b8??

My brother has a 93 cx hatch and its got a d15b8 motor in it. Anyone have the specs for this motor? I know its weak as hell, becuase there is so little torque that the car basically drives backward . He just wanted to know the base figures, I think it must have like 75 whp.

Thanks
Dan

Dan</TD></TR></TABLE>You WISH it had 75 whp. More like 70 CRANK hp.
Specs:
70 hp
88 lbs torque at 2800 rpms
8 valve
small throttle body

I have this engine and has replaced a lot of parts internally, so if you need help ask.

Thanks

oh i have no mods other than intake/exhaust. I have just replaced the rings, valve seals, rod bearings and head gasket. And BEFORE anyone asks, the reason i did all this was A) It was cheap, less than $150. B) I am building an LS b00ster and C) I felt like it.

hah. THere is nothing U can do with this motor except use it as a backup if your good motor blows. I can;t wait til I put my LS motor in, it's nowhere near the best motor, and it still doubles the D15b8's HP! Oh well.
