D15b7 valve cover problem.
Ok so I've been meaning to change my valve cover gasket for a while and finally got around to it today. But when loosening one of the nuts off the top with about 3 pounds of pressure the bolt just snapped. And now I'm left with a valve cover that won't completely tighten and a hole where the bolt should be. Is there a way to get that stud out and replace it. And if so how and where can I find one? What is it even called? Thanks.

just go to your local junk yard. any non vtec d series from any 88-95 will have the stud you are talking about. i broke one of those one time at like three in the morning. SUCKED *****

take the valve cover off, you need a 12mm i believe wrench to get it off. its one of the long bolts that holds the rocker arms down

Most likely you aren't gonna find it at an auto parts store- you may, however, find one that will work at a fatener supply place if there is one local to you. There is a place in Raleigh called Wylders- they specialize in nuts and bolts. Somewhere similar to that could help you. Just take off another one and bring it in to them and have them match it up. It shouldn't cost you more than say $5. I hope you have solved this problem by now but if not- there you go.
