d15b7 turboing questions
i want to turbo my d15b7.. i would only run 5-7psi of boost. i want to get a ebay kit (dont bash me)..
this is the turbo

not necessarily ive never ran one on my set up and have never had problems but im not running a ebay turbo either im running a gt28r. main thing running these ebay turbos most people are running them with oil restrictors with success. i don recall the size you would need though

yes but those skunk 2 manifold are known for their nipples to fall off maybe thats just one person that had a fluke incident i read it on turbod16 where i like to get a lot of my info on turbo d series . im using a edelbrock performer x manifold...lil better quality

Heres 2 words of wsdom when it comes to throwing on a turbo kit:
Fast
Cheap
Relaible
^^ pick 2 and the 3rd is what its not.
If u try and save a buck, will cost you 2
Keep those in mind when you build your engine, and that should help you make the right decisions.

Here is a thread that was posted a while back about ebay setups. This person actually found a seller that had a kit that, for the most part, had parts that worked.

Read through it and you will see what parts have been found to fail. Obviously the turbo is typically one of the weak links in an ebay kit. I would never use one personally, but some people have used them on low boost for quite a while.
Just make sure to get a good tune when all is said and done. Good luck.
