what year instrument dash will fit 92 dx hatchback.
I just bought a 92 dx hatch w/ls swap. It doesn't have a tachometer, and i was wondering if any civic (hatch or not) instrument dash will fit. Also will it just plug in and work, or would I need to do some splicing.
I was considering on getting a tach gauge. I've heard it was easy to install it also. red=power, black=ground, white=lights, green=blue distributor wire. I'm concern that it might block my view.

92-2000 Civic.
Get the 99-00 SI the tach goes to 9 grand.

save yourself the trouble and just get a 92-95 si/ex cluster if u want a tach to 9 ...the lx and vx models have tachs also but not as high.this is plug and play
that 99/00 si gauge cluster swap is nice..but in a EG its a pain in the *** to do.

you can also put integra 94-01 into eg cars. it requires some rewiring and placing it right so it look good. but im planning on doing a type r instrument into my 94 hatchback

what kinda rewiring must i do to it? i think that might b pretty cool to have teg dash. let me know how involve it is to install one. thanks

to install the whole dash it requires some rebolting and cutting of the door panels to fit properly. looks good if they/you do a nice job on the door panels. But you cant just use the eg dash and use a 94-01 instrument/gauge into it.which requires some rewiring.do a search on it. im def gonna do it to mine.cause im putting in a b18c5 in my hatch as soon as i put on my big brake conversion.
