D15b7 replaced clutch, now wont start up
I have a 95 Honda Civic DX w/ D15b7 engine. Recently, it was recovered from theft recovery. The person who stole the vehicle took the vehicle on a joy ride and completely burnt out the clutch. As a result, the clutch was down to the bare metal and the vehicle would fail to move. So, the tranny was taken out of the vehicle and inspected thoroughly. Luckily, it was only the clutch that was damaged. After replacing the clutch, the tranny was put back into the car. I tripled checked everything to verify that all the harness, grounds, plugs, sensors, hose, and wirings had been reconnected and everything seems to check out fine. Then when I tried to start the vehicle, it would crank but it wont turn over. I tried another good working distributor and it did the same thing. It wont start. I triple checked the wirings and everything is connected. The ground wire to the tranny and the thermostat has been checked as well and it is connected properly. I even sanded the ground wire and the engine where the ground wire suppose to go. I am completely stomped and I do not know where to proceed from here. I do not want to take the tranny out and inspect it again.
