Default D15b7 Frankenstien

hey. i have a d15b7 stock out of a 94 civic lx. its going back in the same car after rebuild. i dont want to do a vtec swap or anything. just a serious rebuild and keep it non vtec. i have an integra gsr so im not trying to make another supercar. i know this car will never be as fast as the integra so thats why i want to use this non vtec motor as another stand point for power without vtec or boltons etc. im going to port, polish the intake and bore it out and polish and portmatch the throttle body. im putting new valves and all that goes with them in , as well as a more wildcam. im porting polishing the head and i want to put better (bigger) valves in to get better flow. i also want to put a new crank in and all the crank related parts. and new pistons rods, etc.

can anyone tell me what are the best oem parts to use for my Frank? such as valves that will fit in this head, a cam that will work in this head and pistons and rings and rods and all that, that will work in this block, as well as what crank would work with this block and the pistons. i want to build this up to the highest HP possible using factory oem parts and some minor boring if i want to. is there a list of all crozz compatible parts for the d series? help me out if you can

so hmmm. 41 views no replies by anyone. do people just look at **** and not reply unless they feel like it. well this site sucks. none of my questions ever get answered but a million others do. what if i said "OMG i turned my civic into a spaceship" some one would reply, or even"which way do you turn the key to start the car?" but nope no one can answer a real question about engine building so my guess is, is that everyone in here just talks out of their *** and doesnt know ****. how come everyone knows you can put type r pistons in a gsr and get higher compression and swap out the intake cam for a type r wild cam and turn it into a beast and that if you do this you need stiffer valve springs with titanium retainers, but no one knows this for a d15b7? theres got to be atleast one person that knows how to beef up a d15b7 without doing a mini me. im not trying ot turn it into a racer im turning it into a moderate showcar so i just want maybe like 125hp instead of 102. i allready have a 240hp GSR so i dont need another one i just want to make a faster family car.

honestly in here pretty much everyone is going to tell you to swap it out but you said that ya don't want to do that so that could be a reason for noone responding to your questions. I belive you would have better luck asking this over in the all motor forum https://honda-tech.com/zeroforum/44
