Default d15b7 to d16z6 what is needed?

what is all needed for the swap what can i go without? a list would help getting a lil confused from what people are telling me it cant be that hard can it?

i belive everything is the same all u have to do is get a vtec computer p28 and wire vtec to ur stock engine harness or get a vtec wire harness from a 92-95 civic ex

ok so will vtec work with my transmission that i have in there now or will i need a z6 trany?

VTEC is oil pressure and engine speed activated, it will work regardless of what transmission is being used.

You'll need a P28 ECU, and the vtec harness from an EX or an SI. That's all. Wiring it isn't very difficult..

p28 ecu-vtec solenoid plugs-d16y8 OEM cam gear, or adjustable (unless you like being a half tooth off) d16z6 timing belt- d16y8 OEM h/g, i like the 2 layer- your trans is fine, but the z6 trans is a cheap and wise upgrade. your old i/m will work, but sucks in comparison to the z6/y8. you need the z6 dist, yours wont work. dont forget to pull the oil jet!
