D15B7 block with broken sleeve (Automatic Transmission).. What options do i have?
I'll be keeping the head and tranmission from D15B7.. not looking for performance or to bump compression, looking for reliability.
1. Which d series block are same height as D15B7 and if any other fitment issues?
2. Am I limited to blocks that worked with automatic tranmission? what changes need to be done if i want to reuse my automatic transmission?

Correct. Nothing needs any change (in the block or crank) in order to bolt a automatic tranmission up. Just replace the pressure plate, clutch and flywheel with the automatic stuff!
I don't know how much the actually cost is in other places but Atarrco in the bay area has jdm d15b's for less then 200 bucks and most of them came from automatics. (Some still have a flex plate still mounted on them). Maybe you can grap one of those and use a automatic ex p28 ecu.
