Default D15B2 ECU

Hi there!

After several days of search I couldn't finde tha answere so I'm posting the question here - D15B2 ECU P04-G53 and P04-G00 - the difference and for what transmissions aro those made? If the G53 is for AT, then what influence it would make used with MT? Perhapse it would be reasonable to change it to PM5?

Your P04 appears to be an OBD0 European ECU.

I do not know if the OBD0 ECU's have the same easy conversion from Auto to Manual that the OBD1 ECU's do.

The P05 is an OBD1 ECU.

The plugs to the ecu will be different depending if the car is supposed to have the P04 or the P05. You can't just plug an play a P05 into a P04 car.

Searching for "Honda P04 ECU", I saw two G00 (manual transmission) ECU's for sale on EBAY.

I have boath of them, but with the G00 the RPMs are jumping around and sometimes the engine stops. With the G53 the RPMs on idle are a bit higher then they should be, but the engine is working smoothly, with no RPM jumps. So maybe the G00 ECU is faulty, that's why I would like to find some PM5, which I think is also for D15B2.
