D15B1 smoking issue
Yes, yes, I know what you are thinking.
Anyways, I bought my girlfriend an EG sedan about a year ago. It has been nothing but trouble due to the morons I bought it from. Long story short, it died on me while driving, ended up having no spark. Replaced igniter and ignition coil and it lived once again. Fast forward less than a month later, I am having an odd issue.
Occasionally, it will just turn and turn over without starting. If I crank it for about 10 seconds, the starter goes faster and faster until the motor seems to, "shudder to life" doesn't even sound like it actually cranked, but it is running. The entire duration of cranking and idle, the tailpipe POURS white smoke. Not like piston rings smoke, like the car is on fire underneath smoke. It happened again today, and I believe some came out of the intake?
I, emphasis on I, have kept it serviced. Coolant is topped off and just changed the oil a week ago. Previous oil was clean and so is current oil. Not seeing any mixing of coolant and oil, and I KNOW what it looks like. Going to do a compression check tomorrow and see what that turns out. No clue how many miles are on the god awful swap, but body only has 170k. Seems to not have loss of power, although its a 75 hp motor with a multi point swap. Any ideas or suggestions?
Also, whoever swapped it, essentially dropped the D15B1 (OBD0) and converted it using what originally came on the car. It is using OBD1 ignition, injectors, mpfi manifold, and the OEM OBD1 ECU. Although I believe it shouldn't bother anything since its also a 1.5, but feel free to correct me.

Re: D15B1 smoking issue
Also, I discovered my smoking issue is because the engine is getting flooded. I believe there is a problem on cylinder 4's injector. Throughout the duration of my compression check, gasoline kept spraying out the top of cylinder 4, which explains the awful MPG's it's been getting. You would think a 1.5 sedan would get better mileage than a 1.5 wagon.
