Default d15b vtec engine into stock lx chassis w/no vetc**HELP***

hey everyone. my girlfriend has a 95 civic lx with a stock engine.d15z1 i think(not sure) and i wanted to get a couple of my questions answered before making any definte descisions. we want to get a jdm d15b sohc vtec engine for her car. my questions are as follows: 1.after swapping the harness from rhd to lhd and having the p08 ecu, will the vtec work? i ask this because her current engine is a no vtec. so when i plug everything in im not sure if the dash harness has the vtec wiring. 2. i was thinkin of using the same current automatic transmission, will it bolt right in after swapping the torque converter? 3. is the d15b and stock lx tranny a good combo?.....as in will it give the car more hp OR will the tranny's gears hold back some or alot of power??? . i am going to do this swap as i have done before. but i ve never dropped a vtec engine into a non vtec chassis . im sorry for my long a*s post but i really need my questions answerd before this weekend as when i will decide to swap it. all and any help is appericated. thanX

if the engine your getting doesnt come with the harness.. youll have to add in the wires for vtec.. only the 92 civics came pre wired for vtec from the ecu to the shock connectors.. its not hard to do.. if you do get the harness with the engine you dont need to convert from rhd to lhd.. the harness is the same

I know this is an old topic but i noticed something. You said that 92s came prewired for vtec from the ecu? I have a d15b7 currently but am wanting the d15b vtec. Where would this wire be for the vtec and would my harness work just fine for the swap?
