Default D15B swap done......car runs but I need help please

#1 When I push in the clutch to come to a stop, the car will die.

#2 I think it's running very rich. I'm using the stock injectors from my d15, are these ok with the P28 computer or do I need the ones that came with the motor?

#3 There is a round sensor (plug) right below the distributor that I don't have hooked up. I can't find anything to plug into it. Does it need hooked up to something?

Thanks

Edit: The VTEC is not hooked up yet so I do have a check engine light.

Pu the injectors that came on the motor back in there and see how she runs..
Your round connector like a metal pin or a plactic clip. If plastic how many pin?

OK, I now know that #3 does need hooked up, I just have to find where my plug on my harness went to.

Can anyone help me with #1 and #2?

EDIT: Are the injectors and FPR the same on a DX motor and the D15B?

Please help, I need to get this fixed tonight.

I'm running a P28, D15B and a DX Intake, fuel injectors, and pressure regulator. None of the VTEC stuff is hooked up.

The car will start and run for a minute sometimes and then eventually dies if I'm not giving it gas. One minute it will be idleing fine but as soon as I play with the throttle, it won't idle anymore.

EDIT: If anyone finds this in a search........it's running good now

My stock DX injectors were not the same as the D15B injectors. You must use the injectors that came with the VTEC D15B motor.

I believe that 2 pin connector you speak of is the fan switch. Is it by the thermostat housing???

make sure your tps is adjusted correctly, I think with hondas its like .49v at idle, if you dont have that correct it messes up a lot of stuff, including idle quality and IAC just a thought

that 2 pin sensor could be the sensor on the thermostat, my d15 be came with a different sensor than the one on my old d15b7, i had to use the sensor from the old motor. worked good.

I think the TPS may be my current problem. I cleaned the IAC today and it helped for a while. I think part of my vibration problems come from these damn motor mount inserts that seem to be transmitting every mouse fart that my motor makes straight into the chassis. I'll do a search for how to adust Honda TPS's. My TPS appears to be riveted onto the throttle body, so I don't think I can adjust it like I'm used to doing it.

I used my DX harness. I'll wire the VTEC in using the sensors that came on the cut harness that came on the motor.

I figured out the 2 pin sensor though, thanks guys. What is the round green 2 wire sensor on the VTEC though?

good thing about 92 - 95 civics is that they're all ready wired up for vtec..u just have to find the wires and splice into them...i believe its a green wire on the left side harness and the other wire wud most likely be a ground

Ghetto wiring = no good in my book. Get some spare wiring clips from a junk yard and put the pins in the actual clips, makes it all look OE as well. It's better than that whad of elec. tape under this guys hood. LOL just ****** with ya bro... BTW your TPS won't be rivited on, it uses the little star style screws. T25 is the right size if I'm not mistaken. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Been a while since I fucked with my TPS... I would check ignition timing as well, JIC.
