Default D15b swap 98 EX. Misfire in all 4.

This is swap ? 40 gillion i think. Haven't ever had a single issue on any other swap and now this piece of **** little engine.

D15b - P2J-003 Manual ECU - OBD 2A

Everything is wired correctly, problem is all four cylinders are misfiring.

Cant scan it because of JDM ecu.

We've tried 2 dizzy's. 3 caps. 3 sets of wires. 2 sets of plugs. pulled wires individually pulled injector wires individually, unplugged every other friggen sensor in the car and NOTHING changes the way this thing idles.

Cam timing off? I'm at my wits end on this one.....

Oh and compression is 200-205 1-4

Help?

How do you know all 4 cylinders misfire?

What codes are retrieved by jumping the service connector?

check engine light is burned out. - Its not my car,, if it was id burn the rest of t.

I checked MIL by disconnecting both Vtec and EGR and running D16y8 ecu (not sure on ecu number)

Scan gauge indicated vtec solenoid and misfire on all four cylinders (misfire all)

Old fuel filter? Low fuel pressure? Faulty FPR?

Does the engine run fine and only have a rough idle?

Fuel filter is probably old as sin. we disconnected vac line for FPR and idle was higher.

it runs "smoother" as you increase the rpms but there are still misfires, these misfires are not just what the ecu says, its very pronounced. Spark is good. Getting plenty of fuel.

I'm almost thinking cam timing is off, making the injectors fire early or late.

other than that I'm stumped and I've seen honda's do some real weird ****.

hell we even swapped what cylinder the injectors were on and it made NO notable difference in how it ran. swapped 1-2 and 3-4 and then 1-2 3-4 at the same time.... fml

Hook up a timing light and check the ignition timing. There's a diagram in the FAQs sticky.

Are the injectors clogged? It would be wise to replace the fuel filter unless you know the fuel pressure is good.

Did you jump the service connector? If so, this^ means the cam timing is fine.
