Oka so i have a d15b with a p28 in a 1992 cx hatch.I was running the whole cx exhaust system and then changed to an si system(1992-1995)with a dx exhaust mani.Everything sounded really clean but just now when i was getting home i noticed that my car sounded much louder when i was driving normal.

I got home and got a flashlight cuz it was dark and tried to locate the proble with the car running.At first i thought that i had a hole in my header or exhaust.I searched for the sound which was obviously coming from the cat but i didnt see any holes or smell anything wierd.So now my car has a raspyness sound to it and this all brings me back to when i got gas at some gas station and when i was leaving i scrapped just a bit.

The car has no lose of power and it seems to be running just like it usally does.I couldnt jack up the car cuz its really late and its time for me to sleep but does this sound like an hole in the exhaust or clogged cat?.Ill jack the car up 2morrow and see whats going on and hopefully its nothing bad.Oh yah one more thing theres a one finger gap all around........im not slammed actually i think my car is pretty high.

aah I wouldnt worry
obviously you've got an exhaust leak somewhere,

probly one of the bolts came loose..
exhaust bolts REALLY like to come loose,
sometimes it takes a few times before they "stick"

even if ur exhaust ends up being fuct up, just get something proper.

oka im a dumbass its coming from the resanator not the cat....boy i must have been very tired last night

I have a hole in my resantaor not good but vtec sounds nice.Is there anything i can do to hold it off until i get an aftermarket exhaust system
