I planning on buying a whoel d15b swap from hmotors. I'm goann have a shop install it. Anyone have a idea how smogging goes? I heard it should be fine like a normal D series but I am confused since it is a JDM motor.

if you have stock intake and stock exhaust and everything "looks" stock, they dont have a reason to check the block numbers if it looks stock. my d15b passed with p28 ecu k&n drop in stock box, greddy piping with magnaflow muffler and still have the cat. guy said i failed the test run 2 times and 3rd time he just tested me and i passed
