Default D15B Dizzy?

I have a JDM D15B motor. I am ready for the swap just about, but I do not have a Dizzy for the d15. I was wondering if anyone knew WHAT dizzy other than another d15b would work for it?

ANd does anyone know if the water pump is the same as the z6 even though they are different displacemnt.

well that doesnt seem to be true my car is now in the garage. The D15b7 (non vtec USDM) bolt holes dont line up AT ALL with the d15b. The d16z6 seems to work, but I ahve to install it and run it to see if its ok.

So for anyone who needs to know, the D15B7 dizzy WONT fit a D15B JDM motor.

you're right, the d15b7 dizzy holes don't line up with the d15b vtec but you can still use your old dizzy with just a few modifications. When i did it, i just used an angle grinder with a cut off wheel and trimmed out the holes on the dizzy. The dizzy has those slits that allows you to twist it to set the timing. You just want to open up the slits so one end is completely open. then you can just use your stock bolts with a large washer to hold it in plance. It's kinda hard to explain without a picture. I'll try to take a pic of mine and show you.

i stole one off my friends girlfriends car, 94 del sol si (1.6 vtec) and ran it, my ECU wasnt chipped but the motor ran fine, I just didnt have vtec due to no wired vtec solenoid.

I ordered a del sol si dizzy from Distributorking.com ?? My friend has ordered about...3 from them and have no probs, one had a short someplace and it was replaced free of charge....3 year warranty

Should be here in 2 days, I have chipped ecu...now all i need is dizzy...

waiting sucks

bump for DIzzy I have.

I got the correct dizzy...and the no vtec wires dont work. I tried 94 del sol si (SOHC vtec) wires fit perfect so i have to order a pair.

IS it possible that all NON VTEC wires dont fit correctly? they are too small on end where wire goes over spark plug.
