d15b and d16z6 guys read please!!!!!
last year i built my first honda a 89 civic w/d16z6 and obd 1 conversion with crx si trans(or so i think)..
just now i drove my buddies 93 ex and that **** pulls way harder than mine did?? why?? i think my trans was not an si trans cuz the car did not pull so hard after like 5k-so did i get screwed with the trans??
well i sold that car and bought a hb with a b16 and later sold that due to wiring probs and a new project. just last weel i sold the 4 dr in my sig and just picked up a 92 civic cx hb with a blown nmotor.. i am thinking about a d15b and ex/si trans-but can i just use the p28 ecu or should i use a rpm activated switch?? please help. thanks!!

it is my experience that the 92's all came with a full engine wiring harness, the vtec wiring should simply be blocked off at the engine bay harness.

That is what I heard too, but on my 95 I had to run 2 wires back to the ECU, and ground the VTEC Sol....
