the 3-stage has a taller wild lobe than the stock y8
same valves...same head...same casting...
about to get mine back from the shop ported and polished
granted...the 3-stage peak hp is at 7k...y8 is at 6600
you do the math...then go save some fuel...

I have the 3stage vtec engine which I swap from a y8 I have skunk2 header test pipe 2/12 exhaust..which I modified and got both vtec solenoids to hit and the same time which makes the car more impressive for vtec to kick in at 6..which I gotta stock basemap chip to get both vtec solenoids to hit @ 5200 rpm and I been spankin Ls b17 integras and ford focuses wit ease..oh even though this motor comes obd2 I changed it to 0bd1 and i love it in my 99 civic sedan
