d15 vtec question
Alright here's what i'm thinking. I have the del sol S with the plain d15b7 no vtec. I want to get the d15vtec that the si's came with. Could i just hook it up to my old harness and run vtec through an external tach?

Re: d15 vtec question (lovnmysol)
si came with the d16z6 not a d15. if you just want you could swap the head and do a mini-me and just wire for vtec, or put in a whole new d16z6, or the JDM d15b, and wire for vtec

Re: (lovnmysol)
wtf. dude do you know what vtec does?
1. you would need to wire the tach to ur ECU, why have a middle man there? just use the freakin ECU.
2. you cant just put VTEC on a USDM D15B7, you need to swap the head w/ a D16z6 or some other d16 vtec ready head
