d15 firing order??
I have a stock 93 civic hatch DX....and i have the hayes book for my car....yesturday i couldnt get my car to start; by push starting (cluctch dropping) or jump start....than i pulled out the wire in cylinder 1 and plugged in an extra spark plug to check spark, and the car started rite up but i shut it off to remove the extra spark plug and from there on i couldn't get it to go back on...i started looking at the ignition wires and distributor....the book states that the firing order is and in my car the 1 and 2 spots are switches; but i never had problems with the motor until yesturday, and with cylinders 1 & 2 on opposite ends of the stroke i dont see how thats possible
so should i fix the order according to the book or should i leave it the way it was??
also does any1 have idea/suggestions on wit wrong wit my car cuz i still can get it to start

This is obviously for a B-series, but the order is the same. The distributor is just positioned slightly differently so that "1" is more near the 9 o'clock position.

Re: (drtysohc)
ok i replaced the dizzy cap and rotor and the wire; plugs are still good....and i'm still not getting spark << the firing order distracted me but my real problem is that i can get the car to start up....i tried checkin 4 spark yesturday by pluggin in an extra spark plug into the ignition wire for cylinder #1 and tha car started right up, but i shut it off to pull the spare plug out and since then the motor just cranks and cranks but no fire.....so i got new wires and the distributor cap and rotor but still no luck
