Default d15 and d16y7 parts interchangable?

i have a 92 civic dx and have to replace the engine. I have a d16y7 thats been sitting for awhile, im gonna drop that motor in, but it doesn't have the crank sprocket and timing components. Are these parts interchangable from my d15 that im pulling out?

thanks in advance for any info on this...

if i had to guess...i would say not. a d15 and a d16 are very different. obdI/obdII; 1.5/1.6...things like that. i would check like monkeymagic said and call and compare part #'s
