d15 d16 block difference

Default d15 d16 block difference

ok so i have always read that the blocks are the same just the crank and rods are what make it a 1.6. but according to the compression calc they have different deck heights.? so they are different?

Yes. They are different. The 1.6's are slightly taller meaning the stroke in turn would also be longer

got ya. makes sence. you could build a nice high comp motor with 1.6 internals in a 1.5 block then ahah

you could build a high comp motor like that but it doesnt really make any power so its pointless.
