No; your d-series alternator will not work on your B20. What year is your car? 92-95 buy a 94-95 Integra alternator; 96-01 buy a 96-01 integra or 97-01 CRV.

i tired to do a d-series, but it didnt work out, so i took the tuime to jack a b series out of a junk yard. if you can find a junk yeard that will let you walk around out there alone, take the one you have and just do a little switcharoo while no one is looking, and go back to the desk and be like "i couldnt fing the exact on that i needed." it always worked for me

you just need a B series alternator that is of the same obd as your engine harness
either obd1, obd2a, obd2b
(harness clips are different)

it doesnt have to be from a crv...

And to the guy that has a d series alternator on a b series....show me

yes the obd's do go by year. the obd1 is 92-95 for a civic, and a obd2 is 96-00 and obd2b is after that.

how that hard to believe i added two washer behind the top alt. braket got a shorter alt. belt and it worked, all for half the price of the cost of an b-series alt.....OBD2a and OBD2b have the same alt. plug...oh yeah its on my LS/VTEC
