D-series Y7 and Y8 head studs the same?
My friend has a D16Y7 block with a D16Y8 head but doesn't have any head studs. I found a set from my old D16Y7 motor, will they work with his combo? TIA

... holy... ****...
If you're going to get new headbolts (highly recommended) get ARP.

BauleyCivic told me that he had no problems whatsoever when he re-used his head bolts UNTIL he boosted the motor. If it's stock then I don't see any harm in re-using them.

Yes, I read his thread and it didn't sound like the head bolts caused that. His problem sound more like a bad gasket/warped head + boost.
