D series tranny maiting with B series clutch

D series tranny maiting with B series clutch
if i have a D series motor and a B series flywhell and clutch, pressure plate etc, could i put the B series clutch on my D series with an 94 Si transmission?

because some d series parts ARE interchangable with b series.
I don't think it will work because the input shaft on the b series tranny is larger than the d series input shaft....making it so the clutches will not be interchangable also

Couldn't agree more. Only thing that B and D have in common is they are both part of the english language. Other than that, they are very different. Biggest thing you will notice with the flywheels is the B-series crank uses 8 flywheel bolts to hold it on whereas the D-series flywheel is only held on by 6 bolts. That right there is going to be your biggest issue. Not to mention the tranny shaft that the clutch disc slides on to most likely had a different size/spline count. Basically, no, no it will not work at all....just go buy the right parts and sell your b-series stuff
