D series Tranny
Alright I searched and I searched....all the different codes flying around I want to try to get the tranny I just acquired identified....
Some links say this...
p20-axxx is a 92-95 cx/dx/lx tranny
p20-bxxx is a 92-95 ex/si tranny
I then saw that people said this...
s20-axxx is a 92-95 cx/dx/lx tranny
s20-bxxx is a 92-95 ex/si tranny
My question is this. I just acquired a D series tranny and the code is this...
S20-2128410. This is the code on the little sticker that is located on the front of the tranny right where it would bolt to the motor. There is no letter following the s20 just a dash with the numbers 2128410 following it. Just wondering what tranny this is wheather it is a 92-95 ex/si which I believe it is or if its a 96-00 ex/si or even if it is a 92-95 cx/dx/lx tranny. Thanks for anyones help.

Look for the circle near the fill plug.
