Will a stock exhaust manifold from a d16z6 fit on a d16y7 motor?

I did a search and some people were saying that it would fit, but a new cat would be needed in some cases.

Does anyone know for sure one way or the other?

Yes it will fit. The Y7 has the cat integrated into the header, so i'm pretty sure a new cat will be needed.

I have the fully stock header assy from a d1678 i will let go for pretty cheap when i get back from vegas if you want it (7/7 - 7/10 when ever i run out of $$)

hondas are like legos. all d series are interchangable. most of the parts are that is.
