k that's probably wrong. The TPS sensor that you speak of needs to be calibrated correctly. Google search "calibrate honda TPS" or something.

as far as your idle problem, make sure u bled the cooling system, make sure the TPS is calibrated, check for vacuum leaks along the manifold and throttle body, make sure the throttle cable isnt holding the throttle body open, make sure all sensors are plugged in. Also are u throwing a Check Engine Light?

throttle blade might not be adjusted right. making it idle weird. is the throttle body a bigger one then the one it had before?

this usually means it's your IACV or FITV. Idle air control valve. clean it, then re-install it. see what happens.

TPS... check your signal voltage. Should be .45v @ closed position and 4.5v @ WOT. It should be the middle wire on the TPS connector, IIRC. You also need to check you reference voltage and ground at the TPS conn.

OP, what are your answers to these questions?

Sounds like a vacuum leak. OP, on the IM runner which goes to Cylinder one, there is a opening for a sensor on certain applications. Is this plugged? This is the same problem I ran into when installed the S2 IM a little while ago.

Friend had the exact same issue with his idle (and new IM and TB) and it was the fact that the TPS was improperly calibrated (basically reinstalled without checking for specs).

Spot on. It can be a little off those readings too and it'll be fine.

And if the TPS isn't the culprit, start with the above suggestions.
