d-series question
ok, i am working on a project, its a 98 civic dx, found a d15b7 with a bad head, i have a d16y7 head that is good, can i combine them, and will i need to change anything on the wire harness, ecu, also what head gasket would i get, one for a d16y7 or for d15b7, i seriously need some help

yes, you can combine them. umm...i think you need the y7 HG. and i dont think you would have to change the harness. and the ecu from a Y7........... correct me if im wrong.......

You need to pull the Oil spray thing between the top two middle Cylinders or atleast plug it. then you need to wire up vtec unless you really dont want it. ( which while your down there, it makes no sence not to )
