Default d series performance axle question?????

I seen a 773hp sohc civic hb on youtube.com and it made me want to build my d series in my del just because no one else around me has one done. My question is where do you get axles to withstand that kind of power? Driveshaftshop.com only makes ones to hold up to 400hp. If anyone knows where I can get a set that wont snap off the line let me know. Also where can I get a good set of drag wheels? I found a couple but I would like some opinions from other people who have used some and what you guys would recomend. Thank you

there are a lot of 10 sec sohc's running in the 10's on stock axles. I'm going to run stock axles and just keep a extra set in case of anything. They are cheaper than gator. Oh ya and the 700hp sohc is running on methaol and is a all out race car that runs 9's!

also i forgot to add, putting race axles in a car, turns the trannsmisson into the weak link so instead of breaking axles, you guessed it you get to replace trannys.

so i dont know about you but id rather spend 200 on 2 axles break theml, take them back and get new ones for free.

You have a good point. I am getting an lsd put into the tranny and I have carbon syncros so that should help it a little. The reason I was asking in the first place was because I have seen many people with 300hp hatchback sohc's that put slicks on at the track and broke axles at the tree, I am running slicks I have a jojo callos complete front end for an Ek converted to fit my del sol. I just don't want to get the motor done and drive an hour and a half just to watch my car break the axles before I even leave the tree.

Thank you for the feed back greatly appreciated it.....keep adding if you like Im always open to new ideas, opinions, or straight facts and I will keep everyone up to date on the build
