D-series half shaft(intermediate)
does anyone know if the 90-91 civic 4wd wagon half shaft will fit on a d16z6???
i have a guess that the differential of the z6 is not compatible with the half shaft teeth of the civic 4wd wagon half shaft...HELP!!
btw the z6 block has threaded holes for the bracket that holds a half shaft....

what he said, D series have unequal length drive shafts, only b and h series motors have an intermediate shaft.

the older wagons like he mentioned do.
I believe also that the first gen Integra came with a half shaft.
But yes, there is a place on the back of the block to tap in some bolts for the intermediate shaft

I have heard of some person/persons who have done this with some modification, but i have not seen it personally.
Somebody has to know what needs / doesn't need to be done to make this happen...!?

I used to have a ZC trans with intermediate shaft and 90-93 integra axles on my CRX. If you have a EF D-series block, it has the holes with threads in it already. Like was mentioned, the EF wagons with 4WD came with intermediate shafts. You'll need a ZC intermediate shaft for it to work. The B-series will not work. Also the first gen Integra shaft won't work. You need it from a EF with ZC.
