are you putting the z6 head on the y7??
just curiouse..
If so, use the head bolts for the y7. z6 are too long (found that out the hardway.)
its a fun set up if this is the route your going, I managed to squeeze a 15.6 out of mine in the qtr with only a header and intake.

are you sure the cx motor is a d16y7, a dx motor is for sure a d16y7, i thought that a cx was a d15y5 or something like that, maybe its the vx engine thats the d15
as far as oil pump, get the one for the engine of course, but i know all d16y gen motors can have parts interchanged, so if you wanted you could get a y8 oil pump, but im pretty sure its no different from all the others.

Yea, the cx's and dx's came with 1.6's I believe in the EK's . I know my DX did.
As far as the oil pump, I am nearly positive all dseries oil pumps are the same from 88 - 00.
