D series EBAY headers. Where the H8Rs @?
Anyone use the ebay headers for the D series? Price is on point @ about 50 bucks. Want to put some on my B7 dd. I used a set of $75 ebay headers on my E46 M3 for about a year and a half with no issue. Noticed a nice gain from about 7500 to 8300 RPM. About 50% of the guys over @ M3forums swear by the ebay headers. Any experience?

Saying "eBAY" header is kind of general. What brand is it?
I'd say go for it on a D series, but don't be shocked if it has exhaust leaks due to not-flat flanges, or if the o2 sensor is in a location such that it doesn't read off of enough cylinders and throws a code "1" and/or "41" and/or "43."

pretty sure they are all basically the same thing no matter what brand. EBAY is littered with them. Probably mass produced in Asia somewhere for pennies on the dollar. They are the 4-2-1 type probably a DC ripoff or something.

I would get at least something with some remote credible background.
There are some good knock-off headers in the sponsor marketplace for $200-$400
If you're looking for something really cheap stick with something like blox, megan, skunk2, DC, etc.

No way I'm putting headers on that cost almost what the car is worth. I was impressed with the quality and fit when I slapped them on my M3 which is obviously a much more complicated design than the D series setup. I remember seeing some dyno results of both ebay and $1000++ name brand on the M3's and there was neg. difference. Ebay headers all the way I say!! I'll order them and give a review once they come in.
