Default d series dude!

ok so i got this z6 block in my garage with a shitty head so i wanted to build it first but now ima just swap the engine cause my cx has badddd rings so heres my question... the

d15b has less of a stroke the the z6, and makes more power - thus would be made from the head?? so would it be better to take a d15b head and put it on z6 block?? also i was told that the y8 intake mani was better then the z6?? that true?? thanks!!

Y8 intake mani, as dyno proven in Honda-tuner's article "super D" (July 2007 issue) has the best airflow rate out of any stock D-series intake manifold.
D15b head on a Z6 bottom might make a difference, im not too possitive if theres a difference in compression ratio's (if noticable) between the two motors. Maybe someone can confirm this?

The JDM D15B and the Z6 have identical heads. The difference is in the block.

Forgive me if I'm wrong... I've been drinking a lot lately.

You are correct, except it does have a slightly more aggressive cam. Other than that they are identical. Some Z6 heads are even stamped P08; the same code as the d15b vtec engine's.
