Default which d series cranks/rods are interchangable?

are all d16 cranks the same? are all d15 cranks the same? what about the rods? what about the zc?

wow....that page had almost none of the info im looking for.....and i did use the search button ....find a search string that will give some good answers before you bitch about people not using the button...***

i don't think the d15's are really interchangeable with the d16. Not positive though. D16's are very interchangeable. Its been said though that if you use a different crank that you'll have to rebore your girdle and block to match that crank, line hone i believe its called. The rings and ringlands are different between the z6 and the y8 though Is there something in general you are trying to do?? or are you just bored.

why you gotta get all nuts for, that place has alot of information and links to information that you may need to know to get your answer. basically all 1.6 cranks are the same, all 1.5 are the same except the jdm d15b. the 1.6 has a different bearing size than the 1.5's, but the d15b shares this bearing size with the 1.6 making it unique.

the same as in part number, maybe not tho.

you can use Dohc ZC pistons and rods in d16a engine
ZC Rods are the same as d16a

i used Dohc ZC pistons in my d16a engine to up the compression
