D or B tranny?
im swapping an H23a1 into my sol and im going to get an adapter for a d or b series tranny to go on the motor. my question is, should i use a B series tranny or a D series tranny? i have a D series tranny already thats why i would like to use that but i need somthing that will be reasonable on the track

i have never seen such and adapter, any pics? It would also depend on what you expect/use the car for. If your looking for quick stop light to stoplight, your want shorter gears, if your a top end junkie might condside s80 with LS gearing. My opinion though. I see alot of the "what should i use " questions and its really just a matter of preference.

H/F to D adapters exist, but they're really uncommon. They were never really designed for H-series engines either, they were designed to mate cheap F-series accord engines to even cheaper D-series transmissions and do away with custom mounts (except the driver's side mount) and custom axles and having to buy a shifter box and cables. It just happen's the the H-series shares the same bell housing bolt pattern. I think Bense was the first guy or one of the first guys to come up with this idea.

i'm a fan of damn near everything d series if you cant tell by my signature. but i would go with a b series trans. a d transmission wouldn't hold up vey well over time paired with that engine. just my thoughts.
