1500 is perfect to get a home made turbo kit for your d.

turbo d.

are you kidding? you can put together a pretty decent turbo kit and get a tune for 1500$. run about 6 lbs and you'll be fine. a decent d series turbo set up will stomp all over a stock B series.

I think he was saying that even at 7-8 lbs a higher mileage engine (like most ek d's) wouldn't last as long as a fresh b swap. That's one reason why I'm going b.

this is a great topic. So much that it has been covered more than the superbowl.

I agree turbo D is the way to go, however, DO NOT LOOK AT IT AS PSI. You have to remember, the motor cannot be pushed passed a certain whp #. Now that means it MAY take 2000000000x10^874 psi, so what you should be saying, is don't push the motor past 220whp. 6 psi on a t25 and 6 psi on a gt42r are 2 very, very different things.

This has nothing to do with this thread, if you need a trans for a H22 then find yourself any accord from 90-97 that is stick and use that. Or a 92-97 prelude. These trans suck, i heard they go out easy unless you find a jdm accord R trans
