Cyliner Compression on a 95 Civic DX?, For a friend...
My friend is about to buy a car, it's a 95 civic DX with 140km,
the dealer just got back with the compression #'s, 160/160/165/155, now I know that's low...
I had her ask the mechanic some questions, yes it was warmed up. But he didn't do the test at WOT, I know from experience that that will give you another 5-10lbs.
WHat are the stock compression #'s supposed to be? I'm guessing 180. Lets say those numbers there are actually 5psi higher cause he didn't floor the gas....what do you guys think?

i did one before on my 90 integra, i forgot to floor the gas and got about 5-10psi lower on all cylinders.

you cn, but dn;t get accurate readings.
Those numbers look fine. I've tested the same car at the same time with different gauges and numbers have been off by upt to 15 psi
