I've managed to completely fill my cylinders with fuel.
I have a walbro fuel pump, and was adjusting my aem fpr.
Apparently I increased the fuel pressure too high and the cylinders are completely full of fuel. So full that it hydraulically locks under cranking.

Will I need to fully rebuild the engine, or should I be ok to just flush it, change the oil and clean the plugs?

Hard not to comment on how you got here but my thinking would be try what's easiest first. if you've fubarred the engine you'll find out in short measure.

I've never seen anything like it before.

Yeah, I ran dual fuel pumps and adjusted the fuel pressure regulator too far the wrong way.
I have a spare engine just incase, but hopefully it will be fine.

Get rid of the fuel, turn it down, and try and start the car.

buy a siphon and pump the gas out.
Then try to crank it over with the dizzy unplug and fuel injectors unplug.
That should help clear what is in there.

Plug everythign back up and try to start it. Dont rev on it just let it idle till for a few mines.
If everything sounds fine. give it a lil gas. If it still sounds fine. then turn it off and do an oil change and all should be good.

Also how did your adjust so much fuel? and when i installed my walbro i didnt need to adjust anythign.

My question is WHY dual fuel pumps ? 2nd was the one or both of them 255's i've never head of that much fuel in the cyl's in guessing this is a first start up ?.

Ha ha DUAL FUEL PUMPS? Wow that made me laugh. Thats amazing how it filled the cylinders. If you don't have a siphon you can do it a different way, but it will take a while and if done incorrectly you may die. Use a thick McDonald's straw to suck some fuel up partly, then let it out in a container. Rinse and repeat.

Hahah, i ran the twin pumps because it's my turbo project. It's not a first start up, no.
It's a walbro 255 feeding a bosch 044. It's overkill, i know.....i've already removed one of them.

I just adjusted the fpr the correct way (clockwise), but i noticed the fuel pressure wasn't dropping, so i tried it the other way, just incase i had it wrong, and the pressure remained high. I though "**** it" and took it for a drive. BIG MISTAKE haha!!!!

Oh well. I'm not an expert, so it's all just a bit of fun!

FYI I think i flooded the intake manifold too by turning it backwards by hand.
