Cyl. No. 3 Running Rich.
I have a b16a2 and cylinder 3 is running rich. I shoot black smoke out of my exhaust and 1,2, and 4 plugs look normal. Number 3 plug is completely black. So far I have switched plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and injector to known good parts. I am getting 12 volts at the injector plugs. My compression came out with +/- 5-7 on all cylinders. What else can I try? What could it be? Can I switch number 2 and 3 injector plugs to see if the problem moves or is the timing slightly different?

Is it just the picture or are you missing the grounding part for the electroid (crap cant think of the name right now) on the middle plugs? If so do you know how long its been like that? If thats the case thats why your running really rich because its barely sparking. Run the car for 500 miles and see what your plugs say.

Nope, its there. Just really gunked with carbon. Thats the 3rd set of plugs that look like that. I put new plugs in when I change something to see if it moves the problem.
