Default cx injectors into a b18c....could it cause problems?

Ok I've heard for the most part civic/integra injectors are the same....240cc i THINK. Well i have an obd2 motor(gsr) and converted to obd1...but instead of buying new injectors i used my stock CX ones from the 92 hatch. They have 160,000 miles on them. What i want to know is could these injectors be clogged or worn out enough where it could be running lean and cause my knock sensor(23) CEL to go off at a certain RPM? It's sluggish as hell also when i barley get above the idle rpm(no tach so i dont know exact RPM). Just wanted to see if worn out or clogged injectors COULD cause this. Thanks for any help

yes they will work but i would do a full fuel injection service not just slick 50 gas additive. Also check the wiring to your ecu making sure its the right connection and if it is then try a solid wire if you have it butt connected the littlest bit of surge can make it go off. On my friends cx and my ex we both have over 150,000 miles and they work fine. Same engine swap

Well thanks to all that responded. I've already ordered new injectors and they should be here tomorrow.

Is this true, because I'm about to reuse my 97 CX injectors on my 94 b16. Will it atleast run decent for the time being? I did not know that they did not flow as well at the higher rpms.

All B and D series injectors are the same, 240cc. They should work just fine. They all flow the same specs and it wouldn't matter if it was at 2k or 8k, as long as they are open they will flow the same amount of fuel. IF you had a bad fuel pump or regulator, that could cause it to flow less at certain points, but thats not what the question asked.

i was about to say the same thing in a more inquisitive form. "i thought all B and D series injectors were the same, 240cc?"

i wasnt as sure and confident, but yes, as far as i know, he is correct.
