I have though about doing that before. I really like it, and their's potential for a ton of cool looks. On my computer, your video is extremely dark though. I can only see what looks like a white guage floating in total blackness. It would be really cool if you could post a couple pics of the whole cluster, and your install process.

How did you mount it up?
What size guage was it?
Did it fit perfectly into the existing hole?

this is the tach i strip in order to fit it in

or if u want to have a clean look u could get the black one wich it would match with ur gauges

I willl post pics ofter I get a better camera

about the tach is a a perfect fit in it strip the metalic face and the plastic shield and the cover of the black then I did some for on the cluster like brake a few brakets take the open trunk light out , cel light, to make room for the tach, after that the tach have the perfect 3 1/2" size of the hole of the cluster and use some special fast glue or something to hold it ( u need a good glue so it can hold those 13 g's pull in the strip ) after that wire ur tach and that all ... i'll post pics of how it's done

I was thinking the same thing. I think he should pull a fuel/temp. gauge out of a Si cluster and replace it.

I have that exact same tach mounted in the exact same spot.

In my dx you can see the gauge just fine if that's what you're getting at.

It looks fun. I also think it was moving wierd and showed high idle, as if it were set for V6.

[IMG]On my 94EG I decided to remove the speedometer and install an auto meter 5" tach into my CX cluster. Turned out pretty sweet. I think i still have it in the garage.

that makes for a hillarious conversation with the lawman while he is leaning on your window sill.

"Actually officer, you are quite mistaken. I wasn't speeding at all. I was only going 6,000 Rpms in 3rd gear!"
