cx is dying fast, engine fund is still low
the 70 hp shameful piece of metal in my engine bay has begun to make a new noise. Now when accelerating in first or second gear, when the engine begins to rev high (no exact rpm to tell due to no tach), I hear a kind of grinding sound that kicks in a lot like VTEC does, except that this sound is not deep or pleasing. Any ideas of what this could be? Again, the sound only comes when I'm on the gas and I estimate around 4500 to 5000 rpms.
