Current Setup / Where should i go from here?
97 coupe ex (white)- These are the parts i currently have on the car or have purchased and will install whenever the hell i get home.
Engine:
D16Y8
Edelbrock Turbo Kit
Aftermarket plugs/wires blah blah
Greddy SP cat-back exhaust
Exedy Clutch
Suspension & Brakes:
Tein Coilovers
Front brembo slotted rotors with aftermarket pads
Dc2 rear disc brakes conversion with brembo slotted rotors/aftermarket pads
Exterior:
Kamanari Body Kit (flame on bitches) - front coming off for oem + lip
99-00 SI Tails
Cleared headlights
OEM style CF hood
17" HP Racing Hurricane Rims (white)
Also have a set of 17" gunmetal Excel Mag - http://www.wheelmax.com/Wheels/exel/majgm.gif
Shaved side door moldings
Interior:
Pair of Corbeau CR1 seats, pads
99-00 SI guage cluster
Properly mounted momo pedals (bolted on, oem taken off)
Pioneer cd/mp3 player
3 10" JLw6 subs flushed in trunk
1 1000w Xtant amp
1 1f capacitor
VAFC
I'd like to do a bit more engine work, thinking perhaps a fuel rail, or cam gear *shrug*. What do you think, this is just a hobby car, i don't race it or anything.
Besides the body kit, which i've grown to like except the front, I like the way the car is turning out.

i have a girlfriend with big **** and i don't make her walk around with her top off?
what's your point....i must have missed the rule that if you had a turbo you were a mad racer.
i'm building this up for fun, power is fun. maybe someday i'll take a few runs down the 1/4, just not my thing.

The way I see it, you're pretty much done as far as bolt-ons are concerned. Cams gears would help, as well as bigger injectors and maybe a fpr. But if you're not happy with the numbers you're putting down for some reason, I would suggest a buildup of your motor, or maybe even a swap. You did state that it was just a hobby car and you don't race it much, so I'm assuming you're pretty happy with it overall. Any pics?
Oh yeah, and thanks for what you're doing out there, I know it must suck sometimes being over there. I wish you the best.

Re: (lsvtec hatch05)
there are no other bolt on's that i'm aware of for my motor....i mean with a turbo kit you eliminate intake/header.
the edelbrock kit comes with 4 injectors extra so i'm fine in that area.
i wish i could get you pictures, but my car is literally 8 time zones away...heh.
i'll start looking into some internals, cam gear, and perhaps a new fuel rail.
this kind of sucks that i'm close to the end :-/ , i've always wanted a 97 hatchback though...new project.

I don't really see any need for a cam gear unless you have an aftermarket cam. Also i would suggest turning up the boost and getting hondata. I don't think you are able to turn up the boost with that kit though. So you may have to modify it.

You are DEFINATLY not one to flame. I need not bring up your "check out this mad fast SOHC turbo y0" thread with no turbo and no information about the mostly stock looking D15 block sitting there. Seems like you may have reached a plateau and it would be wise to invest your money from here on out. BTW, I have a lot of respect for the original poster. And nothing buy to the brave men and women who protect our great country.

How about an EF-1 SOHC turbo cam and upgrading your valvetrain (springs, valves, etc). I think that would make a nice improvement, plus finding a donor cyl head would not be difficult (downtime would be reduced).
Some pics would be nice it sounds like you have put alot of work into your car.
