I did a search on this and I could not find a solution on this. I bought a set of EK9 rear seats that came off a 98 CTR:



The hooks on the bottom cushion do not line up with the hole in my 1997 Civic hatchback:



I was thinking of taking it to an upholstery shop in LA or OC in order to have them swap out the frame. But I wanted to see if anybody had done anything else or if there was a SoCal upholstery shop they could recommend.

cut a new hole for the clip?

having a shop swap the frames will be too much $ imo

I need to check that metal beam again but from what I remember it looks thick...

Remove those brace brackets where the tabs slide into under there it should have the other slots. Try those.

no! your supose to swap something out from your oe seats to the ctr seats but i dont remember what its called, call hmo and steve will tell you! its easy!

From what I heard so far is that the part you definitely need to swap out is the frame from the upper backseat portion. I don't know about the bottom cushion.

that may not be it but damn i cant remember to save my soul but yeah its just an easy swap over from one to the other
