Re: ctr pistons (teamvirus)
You will need to modify the pistons to accept the B16a rods. If you were using a GSR block(B18C1) or Type R(B18C5) you do not need to mod the rods. Only on B16a and B18a/b will you need to mod the rod! As far as bore, its best to get a set or .25mm over (.10 over std. size) and have the block bored. You can get away with using the stock 81mm bore, but like a good brake job its always best to cut a layer of used material off. Its up to you the only difference would be longevity. I have seen motors last very long on stock sleeve bore, but why skip on a $60 service (give or take a few bucks) when the block is already at the machine shop? Dont expect anymore power, but atleast you know the sleeves are machined to the pistons you are using.

What the hell are you talking about...please don't post stupid shiet
You can get ctr pistons in the standard 81mm bore which is the same bore as the b16, or you can get the oversized 81.25...but why get ctr when theres other stuff out there that will give you more performance?
