Default CTR piston setup

Just got some new CTR pistons for my B16a. I've been doing research all day on honda-tech and i came to the conclusion that i would have to mill the b16a rods about 1mm for clearance. Does that sound right to you guys? Is there any other b-series rods i could use on a b16a with CTR piston with no clearance problem?

Yes you need to mill 1mm off each side of the B16 rods to get the CTR pistons to fit. I recommend getting them shotpeened also. Thats what I did.

I really don't want to mill off 1mm from the rods, could i use a LS or GSR rods? Well since you had it done already, hows the motor running?

Its running GREAT! No problems at all. Just make sure the machine shop you're getting it done is legit. A few of my friends did this also, no complaints from them.
