heres my question, i have a 92 hatch CX with a 00 JDM CTR motor that i just ordered and i wanted to know what throttle cable do i use? and can i use the CTR PCT throttle cable bracket with what ever throttle cable i use? and what spark plugs should i get NGK # 7? 9? 10? or 11's which is better for stock CTR with bolt ons? and is there anything i need to know about this swap goin into an EG? here are some pics to show what ive got done anything will help me

you can use your oem cable with the b series, but typically people use a usdm integra type r cable and bracket. its pretty much the same as putting any b series into a 92-00 civic.

my oem cable didnt fit, its to short, i ordered the 00 type R throttle cable last week from honda just wanted to make sure i was right, anything else about this swap that i need to know? what ECU should i use? or go p28 and get it street tuned or dyno tuned? i want the most horse power out of it stock motor prolite flywheel and bolt ons, i want it as reliable as possible so redline is going to be at stock rev point, but what is your guys opinion? or anyone elses?

wheres the wire harness? its alot easier to put the harness on the motor then drop it in. all you have to do is get any b-series throttle cable and find the rite bracket. i used one from a da integra and it worked fine. bracket and cable.

also what dizzy are you using? dont try to hook up the the sensor by the crankshaft, that sensor will be in the obd-1 dizzy if thats what ur using.

jdm motors dont have crank shaft positioning sensors by the crank, only USDM, and im using the obd2 dizzy that came with the CTR motor. i have the obd2 to obd1 distributer jumper harness already have a ITR rear tranny bracket

I use PFR6G-13 plugs in my B18C5 - same plugs are fine in a B16B.

Yes use an ITR cable and bracket where it bolts to the IM.

Use a P28 ECU and have it rechipped or best-yet tund on a dyno by a local to you installer/tuner of Uberdata/Crome/ECTune, etc.

The easiest way to install that swap is to use any 96-01 Integra harness (preferably a VTEc model) so that you can atill use the CTR injectors, dizzy, alternator, etc. without having to rewire swap for OBD1 parts to plug into your Eg harness.

i had a lot of time on my hands befor i dropped the motor so i swapped out the alternater plug and injector plugs, and maybe 1 or 2 more that had to be swapped, and i have no vtec pressure switch on my swap so thats another thing either i use to stock ecu or have the pressure switch disabled on a p28, thanxs for the info and help me out somemore....lol

You can simply piggy back the VTEC solenoid signal wire with the VTEC oil pressure wire at the ECU and fake the P28 into thinking you've got the VTEC oil pressure switch. You just scotch lock/piggyback the wires at the ECU.
