CTR Headlights and HID's?
I recently purchased a set of Genuine Civic Type R Headlights w/ City Light sockets and bulbs and McCulloch 6000K (or 6500K ) HID's for $550 shipped but I'm concerned about the glare in the housings cuz I don't have any sort of projector retrofit in there... Will HID's with the replacement H4 bulbs look like crap?

My old HIDs in my EK, theyre gone now dont worry (along with the gas *** taillights and body kit). I couldnt see **** at night either, the housings have to be designed for HIDs cause the light goes straight out the tip of the bulb instead of the sides like H4s do. You need a reflector and housing designed for HIDs.

I think your confused with the newer EP3 chassis CTR. Its came with HIDs but with a projector headlamp housing.

Re: (goodfella732)
ya know whats cool? get the chrome reflector from a 03 Integra Type-R with HIDs, and get that reflector in your EK headlamps. That will work. Or the reflector from a 03 Acura TL.
