search is down. I was wondering about running a ctr ecu in my del sol, b16 with ctr cams and pistons, would it be a good idea? what exactly would i need to do to for it, also any complications concerning obd issues?

wiring adapter might be needed if your sol is wired for obd1.

ODB1 to OBD2 I'd assume? I wouldn't recommend it. The CTR is a 1.6, but it's the same deck height as a B18 - meaning you'd benifit more from a good tune off of an OBD1 ecu. I'd guess that the ctr ecu will cost a lot due to bling factor, JDM'ness, or whatnot - if it's under $250 it might be a better price/performance ratio.

The CTR ecu is OBD2B if I'm not mistaken. If your Del Sol is 96 or newer, you will still need a adapter, as I think it is an OBD2A ecu

well seeing as its and OBD1 the money and...(just money) won't justify the power, not to mention the countless hours just searching for whats needed. So on that note what would be a good chip to throw in my p30 to get a little more out of this motor?

No chip, period.

They are garbage, and a waste of money.
